PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM

Each individual is on a personal journey traveling though life trying to find meaning in everyday occurrences. This can be achieved through a series of discussions of the storms and thundershowers in the lives of each and every one of us and how peace can be found during a time of deep personal crisis. This will be achieved through the recitation and discussion of personal narratives, poems, poetry and personal stories in a safe and supportive environment. The journey to find meaning in tumultuous times can and will provide personal and spiritual empowerment. It is hoped that participants will be willing to share their insights with others in a public forum in a performance backed up with music that echoes the sentiments of the piece being recited.
