Extreme power napping (also known an polyphasic sleep or uberman's sleep schedule) is a method of decreasing the body's sleep needs in order to increase the amount of quality waking time by 40 hours per week! Let's talk about the idea of extreme power napping and how to actually do it. What are the requirements? Is it really possible to reduce the body's sleep needs? How easy is it?

We all need more time, right? One way to do that is through extreme power napping - objectively increasing the amount of waking time in each day. Sometimes though, the real bottleneck is in how efficiently we use the time we already have. On a yet deeper level, there are common psychological motivators that make us feel like we need more time, and it is these underlying motivations that will ultimately dictate whether extreme power napping is right for us. Come join us in East-West Books Cafe to explore this fascinating possibility and truly assess ourselves to see if extreme power napping is a viable path for you.

This will be held in the cafe section of East West Bookstore, located near the corner of 5th Ave and 14th Street, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.
